After a long flight, your Captain has arrived in the fabled system of Brickadia. The datacube had been sparse on the details, but they can see that the system is made up of numerous of planets orbiting the large, yellow, Brickadian star. After some sensor sweeps you discover that a number planets have life sustaining atmospheres with very diverse climates. Some civilizations might also be uncovered if you look hard enough, though their level of technological advancement is to be discovered.
Normally after a long space journey, it is good practice to make land-fall and establish a base of operations from which to explore. So after a moment's thought, your Captain picks a location and prepares to establish their home away from home.
Challenge #3
The build for this month is your Captain's home base in the Brickadian system. This can be anything from a rented apartment on a resort moon to a hastily constructed shelter after crash landing on a frozen Hoth-look-a-like to a full on space station constructed on an asteroid. The choice is yours.
A few requests though:
1) Please try to keep it to one 32 x 32 lug board in size. As cool as a whole city would be, we want this to remain about creativity and not about collection size. Of course, I am likely the worst offender for this, so consider me duly noted.
2) Please name the planet you landed on in your submission. In fact, making it the name of your submission would be great for clarity.
Apart from that, let your imagination go wild!
Here we have our list have completed submissions for Challenge #3:
Brico Space Station - Lizzie H.
Untitled - Anika and Kevin H.
StarBase 3188 - Dylan M.
Base Camp Leisure Time - Carl H.
Space Base - Erik. H
